Podcast: A Christmas Carol (1951)

By Michele Wojciechowski on December 18, 2020

In this episode we discuss the UNANIMOUS winner of the Holiday Roulette, John’s pick of the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol. This classic version was originally called Scrooge upon its initial release. John makes the case that out of all the versions, some good some bad, this is the gold standard. Starring Alastair Sim who creates a nuanced and believable Scrooge which is the heart of this film. Does the gang agree or do they think it’s a hum bug? Watch/Listen to find out. And in the words of Tiny Tim…”God bless us…everyone”.
